Yorkshire Coast
The Yorkshire Coast is an extensive stretch of beaches, picturesque fishing villages and traditional seaside towns. The Paddock Pods are located just a short drive away from the coast with easy access to explore further afield. The popular towns of Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington offer tourists all the usual seaside treats including fantastic seafood and (when the tide right) miles of beautiful beaches.
We would also highly recommend a visit to the cobbled streets of Robin Hoods Bay and the RSPB Nature Reserve at Bempton, famously known for its thousands of breeding seabirds.
By staying with us you are also just a short drive to the nearby blue flag beach at Hornsea, a classic British seaside with a promenade and excellent fish and chips!
The Yorkshire Wolds
The influential British artist David Hockney was inspired by the beautiful rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, which are perfect for walkers and sightseers. If you feel like brining your walking boots you might like to take in some of “The Yorkshire Wolds Way” a 79 mile (127 km) walking route in the chalk landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds. Or if it's market towns and historic houses you prefer the Wolds has plenty of those too!
Beverley
The historic market town of Beverley is just a 20 minute drive from Paddock Pods. There is so much to see and do in Beverley, whether it's an afternoon spent strolling around the shops and cafes, a visit to the stunning Gothic Beverley Minster or a day at the Races. It's well worth checking out the busy events diary for the town as there are festivals and events going on throughout the year.
